Here’s a look at where tonsils are located:
According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, tonsils and adenoids are part of the lymphatic system. Tonsils are in the back of the throat. Adenoids are located higher up, (see figure above), behind your nose. Both help protect the body from infection by trapping germs coming in through the mouth and nose.
